How to mentor in this virtual world – february 22nd – 12-1pm
Creating a strong mentorship relationship is key to successfully guiding students through their goals. As we work with our mentees, especially through virtual mediums, how can we ensure that these connections remain strong? Drawing on coaching skills, we will share practical suggestions on how to develop and maintain authentic relationships with our mentees so that they can grow and develop.
Lori Nero Ghosal, Ed.D., is a Professional Certified Coach and will share basic coaching skills to help you create a safe and inviting environment to maximize your impact through mentorship.

In a post post-COVID world, we are all faced with new challenges in and outside of the workplace. Doing things way we’ve always and outside of the workplace. The session will be facilitated by Dr. Leigh Shamblin, who serves as Director of Leadership and as a Professor of Practice in the Department of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for in the Poole College of Management. Dr. Shamblin has a background in international business and business leadership development.
